Sailing through The Winter Solstice Light Display In Downtown Frederick
This event begins in November and continues through February of the following year. There is expected to be about 25 boats in and around Carroll Creek, each sponsoring a local nonprofit and beautifully decorated in lights. This is a FREE event!
Seneca Creek State Park in Gaithersburg, MD
The wondrous display of Christmas lights at Seneca Creek State Park will be open nightly November 27th through December 31st. The 3.5 mile drive through the enchanted setting of Seneca Creek State Park takes you past more than 450 illuminated displays and beautifully lit trees that light up the night.
Merriweather Symphony of Lights In Howard County, MD
This display is made up by more than 300,000 bulbs and takes place from November 25th to January 2nd! New this year is a 150 tall screen and even more Christmas light displays. You can either drive-through or walk-through during select nights — a family fun time indeed!
North Pole Lights Walk In Severn, MD
Open select dates late November and December — take a self guided walk to the North Pole! Walk through many different Christmas light displays as you make your way to see Santa! Bring the family for a walk to the North Pole! See the garden flower lights, forest animals and many more as you journey to the North Pole. Santa is outside to visit with children.
SPCA Lights on the Bay in Anne Arundel, MD
From November 20th to January 2nd, head on over to Sandy Point State Park for a marvelous lights display! This year’s displays range from holiday influenced designs to lights inspired by our very own historic Annapolis. Visitors are awed by the animated lights, including one of the USNA midshipmen tossing hats into the air. There are also scavenger hunts and games for children to play and win prizes!
